Import Reactor Drift Event April 2010

So I’m finally in the relaxing (well, sorta) stages from the last couple of weeks. I posted most of what had happened at GSS then IR was 4 days later. had to head home, change a few things, fix (fiberglass, haha) a few things and sort my tires/alignment out. Headed out for Import Reactor with some new names on the car, Triwerks Auto really helped out with the support for parts and tires and other last minute things that can really build up quick. 501 Automotive is on there as well as Elijah originally helped me get everything in the car and sorted, really helped troubleshoot the beginning of the cars life to be honest and I owe him huge!

Import Reactor went well, got some sweet tandem practice in with JR’s Falken Mustang then was on to qualifying and comp rounds. I qualified 5th because I had some trouble finding the line I wanted, never was as close to the wall as I had hoped but I made do. I ended up going agianst my buddy Will from NST whos an amazing driver and a lot of you guys probably see travelling the country quite a bit! Next was Chelsea which was no easy challenge, he’s always a good driver thats on point and well executed. After that I went against Sammy Tiger who, unfortunately, had wrecked his car the round before. But Sammy is always in good spirits and still drove insane! Definitely hate to see him take on any bad luck.

So I ended up getting 1st at Import Reactor and went on to do some sweet tandem with JR again! Truly a fascinating experience! The following is some of the coverage I’ve found from the event. Thanks to Speedhunters and Mayday Garage for the amazing shots

Night time came, the track cooled down and the competition started
